Issue Position

Throughout her career, Lisa has fought to ensure that women have access to the full range of reproductive health services. As Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin, she worked to pass policies expanding access to affordable health care, ensuring access to birth control, and improving the quality of comprehensive sex education in our schools. On the City Council, Lisa successfully passed a Buffer Zone law that protects women from harassment as they enter health care facilities. As your State Representative, Lisa has worked as a member of the Health Committee to protect every woman's right to make her own health care decisions without interference from government and to expand access to affordable health care for all. Lisa has also built bi-partisan support for for a bill that makes it easier for working mothers to continue breastfeeding after returning to the workplace.
